Tucked in the central part of western Serbia, in the region called Radjevina, is the center of our world – the Frikos facility. It was built in year 2000 on a 15 acres of land. The capacity of the frozen storage is about 9.000 metric tons. The daily freezing capacity is 80 t/24h in the flow freezers and 140 t/24h in the static freezer.

Around 70% of the fruit that Frikos collects grows within the radius of 50 km around the facility and
more than 80% of it is freshly picked. This way, we are able to choose quality product and to freeze it
in timely manner.

In that place, located next to several 1,000-meter mountain peaks among hills suitable for growing
fruit, our journey begins:

The story begins in the orchards of our reliable farmers, with whom we take care of the fruit together – from bud to harvest. The reception and first evaluation of the quality of the fruit is done under the watchful eye of our technologists. Followed by fast freezing in order to preserve, in the best possible way, everything that makes our fruit perfect.

After freezing, the fruit goes through a detailed inspection process in order to be ready to continue
its journey. In other words, it is ready for freeze drying .

At the end of 2022, we finalized the first part of our plan and installed 8 freeze dryers of our own
production. Now additional 4 freeze dryers are added, which makes total of 1.000 tons of different
freeze dried products per year. The part of the facitily where freeze dried fruits are further inspected is equipped with the cutting edge equipment. This allows us to ensure that delivered product is of
best possible quality.
