Our story began in 2000, in a place of great love and warmth – within two families, Stajčić and Oreščanin.
It all started with the idea of freezing locally grown, fresh fruit. Quickly, we gained a good reputation among the most demanding customers – retail chains and manufacturers of freeze-dried fruit.

After 20 valuable years of successful cooperation, the idea for a new chapter of the company was born. Frikos, as a company that deals with freezing and exporting fruit, took a step forward and became a company that freeze-dries its own frozen fruit.

We implemented this idea in 2021, marking the beginning of a new chapter in freeze-drying. This completion of our production process enables us to consistently offer a tested and high-quality product from the field to the table.

When things are done with love, honesty, and openness, they naturally find their place. Our customers recognized this, making Frikos the largest exporter of frozen organic and freeze-dried fruit in the region.

As for the family? After so many years, it has grown and now has more than 250 members.

OUR EXPIRIENCE

Before starting the freeze-drying processes, we were suppliers to the largest freeze-drying companies, with over 20 years of experience in export. Today, our products are present in almost every part of the planet – Europe, North and South America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many more.

What makes us unique is the availability of quality fruit through a mutually solid and stable relationship with our farmers. Additionally, processing and freeze-drying with our own freeze dryers have proven to be significantly more efficient than the equipment available on the market.

And of course – love for fruit. Which is growing every day and which motivates us to do everything we do according to highest standards:

  • Conducting more than 1000 analyses per year
  • Implementing a controlled plant protection program according to EU and NOP organic regulations as well as FDA and EU conventional regulations
  • Certificates
    • HACCP since 2006
    • Organic production since 2008
    • Kosher since 2009
